And for those that may be wondering they do appear to work fine with the hdtvi cameras that i tested out

They worked up to 100ft okay but only with highquality shielded cable
Allows use of cat5e cable instead of the more fragile video and power cable doe video security cameras
I have lots of cat5 laying around and also already run around my house 10 to 100 ft pieces

Mounting a camera outside my home i had to install a junction box on the exterior wall just to conceal the bulky adapter inside of it this weatherproofed the adapter as well

A bit prone to interference though if you have any electrically noisy power supplies close to the twisted pair youre running them on

The cheap cables like what you can get on amazon for 715 per 100ft arent shielded well

So if youre interested in running cat5ecat6 to your tvi cameras these should probably work fine
