This product is ideal for renters that cant do an inwall solution or for situations where an inwall solution is not feasible

With the bulb attached it sticks out from the light fixture too much

Had to turn it off and on a couple times for smart things to see it but it eventually connected just fine

Also the button on the side is hard to find in the dark if you have to manually activate it

Easy setup with vera edge and it has a button on the device so you can turn it onoff without having to go to the vera control app and vera still recognizes its onoff state

However it did make the bulb stand up above the lamp shade at first until i slightly modified the lamp shade base

If your lamp shade is the type that attaches to the top of the bulb then this is a moot point
