This extremely well pleased customer highly recommends this wonderful product. Functions as advertised.

Super lightweight - practical, versatile. They are compact, but display ample lighting. Very bright and lightweight.

Cons

Has a yellowish cast. Box was already opened, batteries loose and rattling around. There should be more friction or a click of some kind holding the battery cover in place.

When opened the light will flicker after placing on the counter/ground. The magnets are powerful enough to hold this lamp to vertical surfaces, but the magnets are on the battery cover and it's loose. Had a 15+ hour outage.

By comparison the eveready use what appear to be cob leds where the etekcity uses a cluster of discrete leds

Competitiveness

This lantern is similar to the etekcity model i bought a few years ago for about the same price

I like to keep flashlights and lanterns throughout the house incase of emergencies
