The old fashioned ding * is just as good as the modern version. Easy to install and easy to use.

I wanted a cordless doorbell where i did not have to keep changing the batteries and this did the trick

It can be quite loud depending on where you place it a good and bad thing but some masking tape over the speaker holes does the trick

The only thing i didnt like is all the crappy door chimes thank goodness the old fashioned 34ding dong34 was an option

After having purchased several chimes over the years i was dubious about this as it is so much cheaper then when i received it i saw it required extra batteries as it doesnt plug into the mains like my others

However it is just as good and the range is fine and because it doesnt rely on a plug can be places anywhere
