You have to have the sensor pointing at the door for it to work properly

If you have a round edge bowl victorian style the main body doesnt sit well on the rim and the sensor part ends up facing the floor

This is just the most impressive quality of life improvement ive made all year set it to red and you barely remember going to the toilet
