Using between fiber modem and switch to protect from lightning. Put it between outside-the-house box (verizon fios ont) and my router. Ground the yellow/green wire using a leviton 3w101-e 2-pole 3-wire grounding plug.
Build 20180125 rel. Solidly built. Well built, sturdy and easy to install.
Ul 497b protectors are designed to handle over-voltage events. These look like they have good specs for protection. I have a background in electronics and how a nearby lightening strike can fry electronics even without a direct hit.

I have xfinity internet advertised at 200mbps and a ubiquiti dream machine pro that i upgraded to after a lightning strike came through my last modem and fried my router two switches an ethernet port on one of my pcs and the main board on my 65inch vizio tv

When i realized i was only getting 8090mbps while setting up the new router i bypassed the ethernet surge protection on the power strip and was getting 220223mbps
