There are just a few points that keep us from giving this product five stars:1) the gloss black finish shows fingerprints, and would be more attractive with a matte finish;2) though temperature display wasn't something we were looking for, the unit is not well calibrated.

Both of our units display a temperature that's about seven degrees fahrenheit above actual.

After turning on the lamp, its temperature typically goes up another two degrees fahrenheit.

We suspect the unit's temperature sensor may be poorly located;3) when the lamp is turned off, its display continues to operate.
