The older i get the more i use ugly florescent green orange red etc 80s looking paint on my blades axes shovels latin machetes parangs barongs kukris bush knives etc to contrast against the ambient jungle and deter theft

Im assuming this is a cost savings effort but the nylon appears to be stout and well made so im not terribly upset by this

Also the blade needed some minor sharpening but that was nothing my 9 bastard file couldnt make short work of
