I used to also have the j2000m which died after about 1 yearauto shutoff switch does not shut unit off

When it came it was in the manufacturers carton only not any kind of amazon packaging

There was a slash across the length of the carton the corners were bent and ripped it was held together with clear tape and the mailing label was affixed on top of it all
