Fits perfectly in cd slot which happens to be a very convenient location for phone mount in my volt as opposed to the air vents which are not suitably placed for the similar type mount

I found the cd mount holder and after verifying it would not block my radio screen or any controls i bought this model

I assume if you constantly remove and reinstall daily multiple times you will see a shortened lifespan of the product but i put mine in once and do not plan on moving it
