We have it ceiling mounted and use it to project web based content which means the source device needs to be connected to the internet with wifi thus making it necessary to connect to the projector with hdmi rather than the wifi that the projector emits

There is a workaround which involves getting an hdmi splitter box and a hdmi to analog converter box to get the sound out as analog while using the hdmi to get the full video resolution and widescreen format out of the projector the analog convertor messes up the video

The only thing i would say is that wireless feature is not easy to use and very difficult to get working correctly
