It may not do 1080p but being 3 chip you get amazing colour and detail at 720 without the colour wheel effect of a dlp projector

In cinema mode you dont really notice the fan mode

It makes my last projector seem so deafening in comparison that i got used to turning the volume up very high just to get over the whirling noise

The only time the whirling noise is audible is when there is no picturechannel input
