Quality

However i have found that a quality 700 guitar or 200 guitar can be set up to be a very good playable guitar

I think the epiphone is quality instrument if you dont try to judge it as if it had the gibson headstock and price sticker on it

That being said my neck came flat as a board and yes there was some buzzing at the factory setup

The pickups are not screamers like my gibson les paul classic but they are pretty good sounding clean and distorted

Imho no guitar from the factory is going to be set up the way you want it

I will not insult your intelligence and claim a 700 epiphone is the same as a 2700 gibson
