The filter works great. They are sold in a pair. Quality product with great values.

Ease of installation definitely depends on your dexterity. Perhaps that thicker felt side makes a better seal between the filters when installed.

Air is noticeably better smelling. At least that moldy smell is gone. Got rid of the * mildew smell. Ac is nice and fresh smelling now.
