The first had extremely mild spots in the backlight that you could only see at an angle in the dark with a black image on the screen

Eventually i sat down in tight stadium seating and the pressure from the chair on the face of the screen while sitting in my pocket caused the screen to crack

I purchased the 3m 1mm adhesive you can find here on amazon to replace the factory adhesive

The repair process itself isnt bad maybe an hour overall if you have to mess with adhesive

This should keep dust from affecting the adhesive as much over time

Theres a few things i like about the g2 including the fact that the screen is fairly inexpensive to replace but the phones build quality is mediocre
