Sheldrake writes with a flare for story-telling. His father has a easy style, but merlins is more creative and windy. Entangled life is a must-read.

Fungi help preserve our nature by helping wood decay. Some fungi play a role in industrial processes for the chemicals they produce. It introduces some intriguing possibilities for using fungi to break down industrial waste.

It is still contentious how large fungal networks are able to communicate with one another. Sheldrake gives examples of how one *’ hyphae can discover a wood block to devour.



Cons

Bibliography and citation counted in the page count. Really irritating. Kindle itself seems to have no other way of reporting a product that does not display.

With the audiobook that i have it is narrated by the author which gives the reading even more presence


I started with the kindle sample listened to the full audible presentation and have just now bought the paperback


So half the book is notes bibliography which is misleading with the number of pages where you think you are getting valuable content


I liked the quality of the book when i got it
