Pros & Cons

Pros

The ratchets are very sturdy, much more so than the majority of the other ones i have. This is just what i needed to hold down some lumber on a trailer. For anything less demanding they should be just fine.

The swivel feature makes it easy to get the twist out early in the tightening process. The plastic finger push on the ratchet release is a very nice touch also for when you are using these straps without gloves especially.

The straps look and feel substantial, not like a throw away item you know you're going to have to replace in a year or two. Quality is nice and straps are easy to use and adjust.

Cons

They're only suitable as a barrel clamp application where the strap is used to wrap around the circumference of something like a band. Once jammed it is literally impossible to undo without specialized equipment.
