Huguette clark is an astonishing lady! I am a recluse myself and found myself drawn to another recluse. I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys cultural history, biographies of unique people, and real life “peculiarities.
It has been masterfully researched, has voluminous documentation, and photos to boot.
Cons
Most of the book focuses on the very bland and uninteresting life of huguette. No one in the narrative comes out looking good, just the opposite.
What an infuriating waste. Wasted time. Don't waste your money or your time. Recommend for those waiting at an airport maybe.
