If you're reading this review, then you are considering purchasing a toy shopping cart. That being said, this is the best damn one on the market.We don't use our carts for at home play, we use them for shopping. Up until now, we've been dragging a crappy plastic shopping cart all over creation. I considered buying the $60 Melissa and Doug cart but a few things about this one made me go for it.If your kid is going to be playing with this on tile, wood, concrete, or linoleum floors in your house then this may not be the cart for you. The rollerblade wheels on this thing let's it really fly. That being said, this is a great option for a home with thick pile carpeting because the wheels are substantial. The wheels were the #1 selling point. They are straight up rubber rollerblade wheels. And for someone like me who takes this out shopping to actual stores it was a necessity because I know the hard plastic wheels on the Melissa and Doug version would be ate up by parking lot surfaces in no time.The listing says this this can carry 100 pounds. I totally believe it. We've taken it to Costco and put in one of the Kirkland detergent bottles and then stacked it full of a bunch of other things and it still performed like a champ.I am not one to spend this kind of money on a kids toy, but this was more a gift for me than the kids. Shopping is fun again. We get asked about it all the time and always get a chuckle out of cashiers when we check out.When my kids grown out of it, probably in 2 or 3 years (hopefully), I am hoping it will bring a nice chunk of change on the secondhand market.
