But i dont get the impression it is meant to take off and put on daily as if the snaptogether pieces may not hold up to daily use

The biggest drawbacks compared to other cases are 1 plastic material feels less cushioned for drops than rubberized cases 2 doesnt seem like the snaptogether pieces would hold up to repeatedly taking the case on and off but fine if you are going to do so less frequently

And unlike a lot of cases out there it has a raised lip just far enough in front of the screen that seems like it will handle a drop at an angle towards the screen versus a perpendicular drop

It isnt all the way around unlike the duoflex but should catch any angle you drop the phone
