Thay was my favorite gate to enter jerusalem for few reasons just at the entrance there is a helpful information center it gives immediate acces to the est part of the big jerusalem market it is the nearest to most churches and this gate is a good place to start as there is an information centre with maps and leaflets and some shops and cafes if you want to visit the old town you have to pass jaffa gate
