The bad is they only have a 5 year warranty and so far i cant find who to get a hold of to warranty the pan in the photo below and you better like them because if you think you want to return them it will cost you over 200 to do so and amazon only offers 20 towards the return shipping cost so it isnt worth returning them

My point is if they are all good and you have no desire to return them i would buy them again but even if they warranty the bad pan if i am required to ship it back it wont be worth the cost i would not recommend buying these or any other items shipped from over seas that may need returnedexchanged the shipping costs are prohibitive

Update the discoloration did not affect the cooking quality of the pan and it did go away after more uses the lids are excellent being able to control how much steam escapes and using them to drain liquids off i would highly recommend this set now i actually wish they offered more pans in the black pearl series

Im not good with temp control but first use i thought i had the heat up much too high turns out food did not burn
