Pros

This is handy as a webcam enabler for my dslr. Great device, the quality of video is taken up a few notches. Generally, these kinds of devices give much better image quality than even high-end webcams.

Elgato camlink is a great way to connect a dslr to a pc. Just plug it in and the pc recognises it as a webcam. Can record video and take screenshots. Can also be plugged into a non-powered usb-c adaptor.

This is a good product, albeit expensive, but it overheats. As always elgato has amazing quality in their product. The customer service are very, very good.

This is an amazing device, considering how small it is, producing 4k fps. My computer is more than capable of 4k live recording and heavily loaded multitasking. The audio syncs correctly.

Cons

It forces you to disable autofocus. The way the card connects to your computer is precarious and can fall. The m6 mark ii or the canon eos rp have no useful video signal.

Ordered arrived plugged it in connected my dslr camera to it with a hmdi cable to use as a webcam and was good to go

I could see the camera feed in windows camera app but it wouldnt initialise in the elgato software

I installed elgato camera hub before connecting this up and i could not get this working as a webcam
