Pros

It was all compact, came with the batteries (whoo hoo, how rare is that? It's easy to use and compact. Choose batteries (included) or by hand. Batteries were easy to install.

This pencil sharpener is sharp, works well, and sharpens his pencil to a good point. Comes with an extra sharpening part for when the sharpener gets dull. For our modest sharpening needs, this is perfect.

Cons

Electric sharpener is little better than a hand sharpening tool. After it sharpened 24 pencils it stopped working.

The pencil gets stuck and is chewed up. If you hold it down, it grinds. When you use it manually, it breaks the tip off your pencils.
