The mask is silky soft and has a padded side that you put on your eyes. Takes a few minutes to heat up and came with a little squirt bottle to add water to it for moisture. The heating element is removable so you can wash the mask to remove facial dirt or makeup off it. I usually use the hottest setting of 5 for at least 30 minutes for me. Be sure to use a USB power brick that can output at least 1 amp power in order for the mask to heat up properly. Even on setting of 5 it won't get super hot just decently warm, probably to keep people from burning their face. The mask can also be used as a regular sleep mask without the power cord if you want. It heats up through a remote control on a USB cord. Easy to use. It comes with helpful accessories, earplugs and a spray bottle. You can lightly wet the mask for a warm moist feel.
