I would give it 5 stars but the equipment is really uglyreplaced inflow and outflow with glass and instructions are terrible

Besides it being so efficient it is also nearly silent you have to get very close to tell its running

The downside of this filter is you have to do the dreaded sucking the hose to prime it and the instructions are bad as others have said so definitely watch youtube videos for assembly and priming because i wouldnt have figured it out any other way

Its really hard to get the nasty gunk out of the green tubing by just shooting water in there because the tubing is so long
