Food micro pellets stays dry but like other reviews mentioned the smallest setting was still a little large for my 10gallon tank i put it halfway in between the smallest and closed which allows for a small trickle of food that i feed my fish 3 times a day and even though this isnt actually a notch the mechanism has not opened further
