    If you don’t use the oil, you have to slide a spoon around the out side to release the egg but then the cleanup is harder— i have to use the nylon scruffy side of the sponge.

    We cooled them, then popped then out and stored them in a refrigerator container for the week.

    The oil didn't seem to completely cover the sides and instead ended up pooling a bit at the bottom.
