Pros & Cons
Pros
Heavy duty but light enough for me to use for hours (68 yr old) tool is light but sturdy. Amazing little arm fatigue even with prolonged use.
The hand cultivator is a handy garden tool. Every gardener needs this tool. Great for any kind of gardening.
Very pleased with my new weapon. It’s all i use and takes the place of 3 others.
Cons
Sure looks pretty hanging in your potting shed, but is absolutely worthless as a cultivator. It’s clearly not made of hardwood as claimed. Once it bends once, it bends easier and easier until it breaks.

Unfortunately this unit is not as well designed as my older unit which was made by a different manufacturer

The biggest negative issue in this case deals with the manner in which the hoecultivator head is attached to the wooden handle
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
This results in a loose sloppy fit
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
The hoecultivator head is slipped onto the handle at the far end and then secured in place by friction
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
To mitigate the sloppy fit on this tool i made two thin tapered shims from some scrap cypress wood and pounded them into the open space around the hoecultivator head
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
Additionally a second screw could be added to the hoecultivator head to help ensure that the head is more securely attached

I also noted that the tines on the cultivator were not aligned in the same plane
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
This was easily rectified by bending the middle tine back into alignment
