It is tempting to buy something highly toxic like bromethalin or an anticoagulant rodenticide

In the end having such a dangerous product in your home or yard and the risk it poses to other animals or even humans in not worth the faster action

And i was frustrated to find them chewing little bits off a dozen pellets and scattering them around the yard worried the amount they were ingesting may be insufficient

Oil or a small amount of peanut butter did increase palatability but they would chew the outside of the pellets and leave a lot of bait behind that being said i do think some of them got a toxic dose from this because again the amount of activity in the yard and new rat feces is less and less
