If i had to say one thing the directions could include the need to take the little plastic cover off of the end of the cables metal tip it wasnt obvious to do so

Appears to be working just fine after i figured out you have to remove the plastic protective coating on the tips

I am new to using optical cable and so did not realize there are small clear plastic beads that must be removed before installing the cable

Even when you look closely at the connector ends these beads look like they are part of the connector

My suggestion is to put a label on the product package telling the user before attempting installation of any new optical cable please carefully remove the small clear plastic connector cover beads on each end

Did not realize at first that there are small plastic protective covers of the end probes

Does not work any better for my audio than my hdmi cable
