Did you ever get the low battery beep from a CO2 or Smoke detector just as you were going to bed? Then you know what the drill is like trying to find something that you just don't have or is dead as a door nail. Yes, the 9V battery in the junk drawer is even deader than the one in the detector. UPDATE 11.15.2020EBL read my review and contacted me to send replacements due to the smell I mentioned. They sent me another set of 9V batteries and another charger, free of charge. This company is awesome, they strive for customer satisfaction and I am pleased to do business with them. The second set of 9V batteries tested out better than any other brand. They averaged 7.53V out of the box and held full charge at 8.37V. Bench testing gave an average of ~640mAh. Runs an average of ~8 hours at 100mA load with final value of 6.1V before charging. Oh and no odor with this batch. Thank you EBL!/************************** Original Review ******************************/It's been a couple weeks since I received these and they still smell like roadkill struck by lightning. These 9 volts are lighter than other rechargeable brands so upon first unboxing I expected them to be inferior in every way, especially after the smell of burnt electronics filled the room.So here's the hard facts:-These 9v batteries are rated at 600mAh and testing shows them averaging approx 567mAh which is close enough for the price. One 9v will run an Arduino Uno with a blank sketch for 11.3 hours and a Nano for 28 hours. I used those MCU's only for testing, not for actually running programs and gear! Uno + Neopixel array ran for 1.5 hours.-Fully charged the four 9v batteries supply: 8.22v, 8.26v, 8.44v, 8.23v-Both MCU's used for testing powered down when the batteries reached 6.3 volts, which is indicative of the lower current supplied by these batteries as we can run Arduino's on far less voltage.-Included 9v charger is stylish, compact, and operates within expected values, charging lights let you know when charging and fully charged. Charger does a great job packing electrons into the cells without going over.Overall, I'm happy with these 9 volts as I bought them for low consumption monitoring devices. My only worry is that the smell is indicative of how long they will last. I hope that's not the case but I've never known batteries to smell so burnt and keep on ticking.Side note: People please don't use these for MCU's (Arduino) or any other power hungry device, they won't work and if they do it won't be for very long. As the seller states, these as for smoke detectors and things of that nature. I only used Arduino to test these as I know exactly how much power my boards use and my power sink was already in use.Would I buy these or other batteries from this seller again? I really don't know yet. I'd say yes if not for the burnt smell so I'll give these batteries a few months before buying more.  Read Less
