Pros
The only downside is that they don't last for years and years.
This one succeeds on both counts. I weigh myself every day, a couple times a day, and it has always been consistent. Accuracy is not perfect, but it is okay.
It's very sleek and nice looking. The readout is easy to read even for 70 year old eyes. The blue background light on the reader is nice.
Cons

Sometimes would get “0. Will not calibrate, even after changing batteries. It constantly needs recalibration. It also goes through batteries frustratingly quickly for something you may use only a few times a week.

My scale just gave up the ghost after 8½ and a couple of floods in my home which i would definitely consider acts of god so id have to say that it was a rock solid performer and was pretty on par with the old school metal scale at my doctors office
