The case it self has lastes about 3 years and is still in great shape the keyboard protector though did not fit well

Fits my early 2011 macbook pro perfectly the keyboard cover is just slightly offset from the original keys and can be only seen when the keyboard backlight is turned on

And as someone pointed out in a previous review just an fyi there is no cut out part to showcase the apple logo
