Pros
It's super easy to install and it's so nice to not worry about changing and filling their old water tank. It is quiet, easy to clean and all three took easily to its use.

I have 3 very thirsty dogs and this is awesome. The reservoir/bowl is smaller than i expected, but the refill rate is able to keep up with my 3 large dogs. This is good for what it's meant to do but not suitable for indoors due to risk of floods.
No leaks. Hasn't overflowed in 48 hours now. Tighten just a bit past “hand tight” check for leaks, and slowly tighten from there as needed. They are not prone to leaking as some other reviews mentioned.
Cons
Both bowls i bought are pure junk. Awful piece of plastic garbage. Horrible design/set up.
The design lends itself to leaking without a good sealing system. It seems even if the bowl arrives in perfect condition, it's only a matter of time before that rubber gasket fails. Spent 3 days to correct the leakage from the water bowl.
The bowl fill level is practically to the rim, meaning that every time a dog drinks there are puddles outside the bowl. This defeats the purpose of a hassle free watering system.

Packaging/appearance
This works great to catch the dog splashes and also contain the waterer if it leaks
I turn the water supply off then dump yep the water in it out into a bowl the wipe the waterer down turn the water back on and we are done

The drain pan under the planter does occasionally fill up with water when they have been particularly sloppy

If we are leaving town we do turn off the water at the valve because it will run water non stop if they do knock it over and use the gravity fed in our absense

Its a nice product but the doubled walled water line it comes with your unable to use brass inserts they provided
