Top half doesn't snap securely to the bottom half. Both halves have a tendency to warp out of round. Compost spills everywhere, etc.

The cities who had other forms of compost bin deals such as wood and wire structures or other brands of bins were less active about community recycling very mixed in population age and were very unlikely to openly advertise their discounted recycling bins
