The range hood light was anemic to say the least about it

The incandescent bulbs that were supplied were not bright enough at 40w plus i wanted energy efficient bulbs but the fixtures were too small for normal candelabra cfls

There was of course a warmup period of about a minute but initial brightness was ok

On top of that the lighted part of the bulb starts halfway down which meant that the glass fixture wasnt evenly lit

However i forgot that i needed special minicandelabra bulbs and these were too long so i had to return them

Not only are these bulbs very compact but they are very bright and the whole bulb produces light so the whole glass enclosure is illuminated

The bulb temp is 3000k rather than 2700k but warmth is fine given the color of the glass which warms it up
