Only difficulty in using it is that bubbles sometimes like to stick to the disk, thereby increasing its buoyancy and reading. Would improve this by printing numbers on top of a background like white instead of the clear plastic. I suspect it reads a b... Read More

The precision is very good, but the quality of construction should be better. The gauge comes in a nice pouch and has a lifetime warranty. Put a load tester all good.

Cons

The float is mounted crooked and sticks in it's travel toward the top. The bulb is not large enough to * enough water from the cell to get it to the full line. Took major tapping to clear the bubbles for a proper reading.

Im glad i had this inexpensive tool to use

So few dollar investment saved me 150 just on this first instance of a defective battery

Im so glad i spent the extra few bucks to get this battery tester over the basic ones

Competitiveness

Quality is much better than the cheap coolant testers ive used in the past which are a similar tool

There are gaps between the green yellow and red categories but not a big deal
