Pros

I keep it on setting 7, 8 and above is noticeable (more than ambient noise) but much quieter than a box or vornado (model that sits on the floor) the fan is quiet enough though and it looks nicer to myself than normal fans.

The air flow is incredible and at high speeds (goes up to 10! Also it’s design is sleek and blends into the surrounding. It pumps the air up into the loop and shoots it out evenly. Definitly better than a normal bladed fan.

Cons

The fan is the loudest thing i've ever heard on any volume past 3. The breeze output is subpar even on the highest loudest level. The dyson is significantly higher pitched, like a hair dryer.

This is a product that has pretensions about being innovatively designed. It is not. The hard plastic that makes it lighter is cheap and cracks. Ok ralph lauren keep making your products more expensive by changing the name for the same vaccum.

Dyson's oscillating fan isn't powerful enough to cool a small living room for $350. Dyson tells you not to pick the unit up by the accessible loop amplifier, but rather to awkwardly carry it like a baby by the base. I suspect it's just the result of h... Read More

Fan would turn on and rotate but air would not come out. Silly little remote is supposed to be stored on top of the fan using a magnet.

Paying the extra money for the design is worth it because i never have to clean dust and grime out of fan grids again

I like it except for the price

Packaging/appearance

Although the seller could have done a better job in packing the dyson everything was intact easy to assemble

I didnt see a demo unit so when i got home was disappointed when i took everything out of the package

Like a few other reviews the box it comes it could be slightly damaged or warn but i assume they are re using the original box

Competitiveness

He is very happy with it and i’m happy that amazon offered a better price for it than costco

We prefer the amo7 over the pure cool link air purifier

The fan does make some noise but not in comparison to a conventional fan
