Ive purchased some highly rated hubs that arrived with no documentation and very cheap construction

This was the issue at least it appeared so with the other hubs as invariably i would hear my computer beep as something became disconnected or worse a short circuit that would either lock up my computer or wouldnt allow the computer to even turn on could only turn it on after i unplugged el cheapo hub

If you accept the fact that a usb hub is not a complex design then it all gets down to the details
