Pros & Cons
Pros
It's really sleek looking and easy to flip the lip open with one hand. The battery life is phenomenal! Not hard. Well worth the price.
Not completely resistant to gusts of wind, but turning your back to the moving air will do the trick. If you're a *, this is perfect as you don't have to worry about the wind at all. But, it works well lighting cigs etc.
Was a gift for a coworker. Would probably make a decent gift to tech geeks or those looking for new ways to light up something. On the front, thin side it says lighter and has four dots that light up & shows you how much battery life is left.
Cons
When battery is at 3/4 (3 of 4) lights it stops working. Lid pin keeps coming out and makes lid hard to close properly.
Battery only lasts a day. After 7 days the lighter is dead. You literally have to touch the top to light it when the instructions say not to because it can damage the lighter.

Competitiveness
This is definitely a giftable item for outdoor users
It’s a good deal for the price and is worth more than it’s price
Could use raising and angling the contacts away from the hinge more like some competitors have moved to

Good if you just want to light things on fire but if you plan to smoke with it i’d look elsewhere as it tends to brutally scorch whatever you’re lighting up

You could light a corner of whatever you’re smoking and let the ember spread but the point of contact will always have a look and smell of getting hit by lightning

Other downside i’ve been noticing recently is that sometimes when i pick the lighter up i get what i hope is a static shock but i’m honestly not sure this thing is wired in a quality way so factor that on
