It holds plenty of recording time but if you really need more get up to a 1tb sata 3
You can pause or rewind live tv for up to a 1hour delay

I think there was 1 issue at one point but i was able to resolve the issue by unplugging the unit and reseting it

As others have said this product is really a duplicate version of the dish satellite dvr without the satellite tuner since its made by the same vendor

The internal tv guide only updates itself about 24 hours in advance on a daily basis by each station which is a negative compared to satellite tv but users can look at their weeky newspaper tv and program the dvr for the special tv programs one or two weeks in advance if needed or leaving town

You only set it once for recording weekly programs

When it fails ill switch to hdtv so i wont need any new dvr as this handles both formats
