Pros
This boot drier is small but works well. The mica is attached to the aluminum via small hollow brass rivets.
Irish setter 5 days a week 11 hour days. One more crank of the dial usually does it. We’re both adults, and thusly are tired of being uncomfortable.
Cons
Timer doesn't stay on long enough to dry it, you wake up to slightly less soggy boots. Could not even dry my blue chem gloves-2 max time cycles. Barely dries sneakers.
The boot dryer isn't even pumping out warm air anymore, it's just ice cold. The blower is unnecessarily loud. It sounds exactly like an old vcr that is rewinding a tape.

He does unplug it when not in use not sure if thats required but weve had an item try to start a fire in the middle of the night so i would recommend unplugging it to be on the safe side

First the extendable tubes don’t stay extended and the angle adjustment doesn’t have a very positive lock to it

They’d probably be fine for kids boots but if i don’t prop them very carefully against the wall i’ll find my size 11 red wings on the floor after a short while

I was hoping i’d be able to plug this into a timer and have it turn on at 3 or 4 am so my boots would be warm putting them on in the morning but the timer dial on this is purely mechanical and will count down even when the unit isn’t plugged in

Yay for a robust design but makes me sad come february in minnesota when stepping into a warm pair of boots would make me dread going outside just a little bit less
