The author did a good job juxtaposing the naïve and obtuse heroine with the cantankerous and callous hero
Ryderhe’s an agent with the committee hardcore against romance all about the work and actually didn’t seem to have a nice bone in his body

The reason im doing it now is that it was difficult to understand how we were supposed to believe the heroine was a lawyer when it was difficult to believe she even managed to finish primary school
