Pros
I tend to wear out pockets, so these patches extend the otherwise good pant's use. To help ironing them on, try a cardboard cutout in the shape of the pocket.
Cons
Requires some real dexterity to pleat cut pocket into new pocket. If you preheat the pocket, the adhesive starts to stick before you get the patch in place, then you move it and the adhesive is lost.

Paper also prevented glue form sticking pocket together while heating it up

Although it was an iron on pocket i took the time to sew it in to make sure it didnt come loose in the future

That worked for about a week then the wornout pocket material started failing in another spot

Wont know until i use these of course but the repair pocket things always required stitching as well as being ironed on simply because of the serious weight and wear he gave all his clothes
