As a depth stop for drilling dowels and they are ideal and cost effective.
Cons
The device spins off the drill bit when used. The collars can slip, which is not good if you are making dowel holes.

The allen key that comes with them is tiny and flimsy
I repositioned and tightened against the hollow of the groove and managed to get it to stay put for the rest of the holes

I didntt think it was great value for money but i guess thats what you pay when you want something quickly
Theres not a lot you can say they do the job at a very resonable price

The first couple of times the collar moved up the grooves in the bit so i got holes deeper than i wanted

I was concerned it might break if i tightened too hard but it needs to be very tight
