Before we were using a furminator which worked well for our shorterhaired mix but really failed to help the pyrs long hair

At first i was concerned with how much hair it was removing in one stroke because i didnt really want to cut all her hair off but after we were done she was still just as fluffy and most of the hair that was removed was the shorter undercoat her belly and leg was recently shaved for her spay hence why she looks a bit uneven in the photo

As i pull the groomer in the direction of the fur it effectively pulled out the undercoats
