Used it when replacing o rings and gaskets and they have never failed.

The o-ring must be poised precariously on the edge of a groove but not fall into it or there will be a leak.

The grease holds the o-ring aligned as the canister is screwed back in place.

Other reviews stated how thick and tacky the lubricant is and i agree, it is surprisingly sticky.

A very thick-bodied silicone lubricant, so you have to choose your application.

I use it on my 20 big blue home water filter o-rings, o-rings for my water softener, on my bob r900 well tank seals, home water faucet repair, and even on the o-rings on my pool connectors to the pump/filter/heater, if it has an o-ring or a gasket and it seals water - use it.
