Pros
The headband is nice and allows for a good fit on the head. I hate wearing sunscreen so this just makes life much better. Used as sun protection for head, ears, face & shoulders.
The hat is very sturdy. The weave is tight and the hat structure is sturdy. Also very durable, good strong material and doesn't mind getting a little wet. Pricey but well worth it. Only complaint is the quality of the straw.
My only hangup about this hat is that the size is small it pops off when the wind blows. Despite the large size, the snug headband and chin strap makes it wearable in all but the stiffest breezes.
The brim can be turned up or down, front or back. It becomes a parachute and will lift you off the ground. My scalp kept sizzling while i watered the grass.
Cons
The hat is poorly constructed with string hanging and straw pieces jutting out. The gate was not locked and could have been put on the front porch. Is it mold?
They are cheaper and better than this. Would not recommend this product.

I hesitated due to the price but i am pleasantly surprised by the quality of this fun and functional hat
It is a fair price and i wish i had one like this years ago

Packaging/appearance
The packaging was also well done as the hat fit perfectly in the box
