This magnet is far too weak to be dragging heavy objects out of a body of water. The magnet is defective it will not lift weight of any kind. It is maybe 200lb.

Didn't even come with the caribeaner that is pictured. Only one latch actually works. The top has zero magnet attraction, but the narrow sides have little.
